The production process of C10200 copper wire mainly includes the following steps:
Smelting: Melt pure copper (purity ≥ 99.9%) at high temperature, and strictly control the oxygen content (≤ 0.001%) to reduce the risk of hydrogen embrittlement.
Casting: Use continuous casting, sand casting and other methods to form ingots or castings to ensure material uniformity.
Heat treatment: Adjust the organizational properties through annealing (temperature 375-650℃) to improve ductility and conductivity.
Processing and forming: The ingot is processed into wire through cold/hot processing (such as drawing and rolling), supporting the production of ultra-fine copper wire as thin as 0.01mm. Oxidation pollution should be avoided during processing to maintain high purity.
