1. Production process

Raw materials and smelting

The production of C63200 copper rod uses electrolytic copper, zinc ingots, copper bran and other raw materials as the main raw materials. After being mixed in proportion, they are put into the melting furnace and heated to liquid state (about 1100℃), and continuous smelting is carried out in a medium-frequency electric furnace. This process achieves efficient melting by cutting metal materials with magnetic induction lines, and adds slag removers to remove impurities.


Forming and processing

After the molten metal liquid is formed by the traction machine, it needs to go through processes such as polishing, straightening, and cutting. Domestic advanced enterprises adopt the "large-tonnage electric furnace smelting-submerged liquid transfer-multi-head multi-stream horizontal continuous casting" technology. A single furnace can simultaneously cast 64 products of different specifications, and the production efficiency is more than 10 times higher than that of traditional processes, and smoke emissions are reduced (dust concentration <10mg/l). In addition, precision copper rods are often produced by extrusion, combined with continuous casting and stretching processes, which significantly improves the density and surface smoothness of the material.


Quality Control

The production process is equipped with a bag dust removal system, and computer management and non-destructive testing technology are used to ensure stable product quality.
